The Millerstown band became an organization in June 28, 1900, with a membership of thirty-two and Mr. P.H. Franck as a leader. Mr. Franck died in a year and Adam Daum became leader. In the next year, they bought new uniforms. The band feels it owes its present existence to the kindness of Mr. August Hoch, who fitted up a room for them to use in practicing.

Another thing people enjoyed were meeting every Friday night at Millerstown Lodge No. 457. They would meet around eight o’clock in Union Hall, Lodge room. Visiting members were cordially invited, on Monday nights too. Visiting Brothers cordially were invited to attend.

The Millerstown Fair Association was a successor for the Millerstown Driving Park and Agricultural Association. It was organized in 1883. It was marked in April 7, 1884. The capital stock had five thousand dollars and split it into five hundred shares. The Millerstown Fair Association was the first successful organization.
